  • SPACE CAMP (June 5-7) FULL
We will launch our first week of Summer Camp exploring beyond the night sky deep into Space! We'll get crafty with our fine motor skills creating sparkly night sky collages, cratered moon crafts, hand-made control panels for our creative play space ships, ending the week by blasting off with open-ended space play.

  • MINI-MED SCHOOL (June 12-14)
Your little doctor will use stuffed animal patients to take blood pressure readings, give “stitches”, put on a cast and make their own first aid kit, all while learning what nurses, dentists, and EMTs do on a daily basis.

  • CRAZY MESSY ART (June 19-21)  FULL
Save the mess for us! Your mini-Picasso will explore famous artist's unconventional techniques to create beauty suitable for a museum. Through different mediums, campers will create sculptures, paint canvas portraits, and end the week with a hands-on visit to a real art museum!

  • BUGGING OUT (June 26-28)
They may be creepy, but bugs play an important part in our ecosystem. We'll pretend to be real Entomologist by exploring our preschool campus to capture and identify bugs, learn from a real bee keeper why bees are important to our environment (and experience the tasty fruits of their labor), and create our own ant farms to take home.

  • WORKERS IN TRAINING (July 10-12)
Understanding early in life how adults contribute to the betterment of our city by serving others will mold your preschooler to dream about a job as a community helper. Through visits to our facility and creative play, your student will meet a local Mail Carrier, a Garbage Collector, and a Fire Fighter to discover what it's like to be a real worker in Lee's Summit.

  • DISCOVERING S.T.R.E.A.M. (July 17-19)
Just like our x-STREAM Kids program, this camp allows students to discover each aspect of STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts and Math). Campers will build gadgets that light up (technology/engineering), build a story through puppets, flannel boards & dramatic play (reading/arts), and learn financial responsibility by earning Mentos through the week as currency to "spend" during our messy Diet Coke physics experience (science/math).

  • DINO DISCOVERY (July 24-26) FULL
Join us as we travel on a Jurassic adventure to discover the forgotten world of Dinosaurs. Build a dinosaur replica, pretend to be a  paleontologist participating in an archaeological dig, and create our own dinosaur foot fossils.

  • ROCK AND ROLL BAND (Dates Changed July 30-Aug. 1)
It's our own preschool jam session as we create handmade instruments, learn from real musicians how they play real instruments, and how to incorporate dance with music. Your little rock star will build their social skills, gross motor and fine motor skills, all while showing off their moves at a Final Performance the last day of Summer Camp!

Class Descriptions

Primary Preschool Classes are multi-age classes, limited to 10 students.

Primary Classes are formed with a good balance of 3’s and 4’s (and some Pre-K 5’s), new and returning students, with boys and girls.

Pre-K Enrichment Classes are for students who will be entering Kindergarten the following preschool year, limited to 10 students.
Pre-K Enrichment is used in conjunction with your child's Primary Classes.  It enriches our curriculum with small learning groups, and longer one-on-one enrichment opportunities that are part of Kindergarten readiness.

x-STREAM Kids Classes are multi-aged classes, limited to 10 students.

x-STREAM Kids (Science-Technology-Reading-Engineering-Art-Mathematics) is an extension of our primary day, providing students ages 3 and 4 an opportunity to enjoy a longer day at ABC Preschool, with an emphasis on language, creativity, and open-ended learning activities.

Summer Camp is an 8-week program that is open to 3-, 4-, and 5-year-old students. Students may attend individual camp weeks, or the entire 8-week session. x-STREAM Kids is also open to students, stretching their exciting camp experience.
