ABC Preschool
2018-2019 School Supply List

ALL STUDENTS:
---Each child needs to have a backpack LABELED on the outside with your child’s name.  This needs to contain a full change of clothing, including underwear and socks, and will be brought to school each day.

---If your child attends a Pre-K Enrichment class, or our x-STREAM Kids class, your child will need to bring a lunch that day.  Their lunch box needs to be LABELED on the outside with your child’s name.  Their lunch should include food, drink, and utensils (if needed).  By state guidelines, all lunches are refrigerated, so you do not need to pack a cold pack.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES:

Our donated school supplies are consumable products for ALL students to use.  There is no need to label these items with your child’s name.  We have calculated the correct number of items needed.  For example, if your child attends two different days which both have crayons listed, your child will bring two (2) boxes of crayons.

**Please note: We specifically require Crayola brand WASHABLE supplies. Our experience has found other brands may be marked washable, but can actually stain.

**To alleviate the stress of the First of Day Preschool for your family, we suggest bringing your supplies to our Curriculum Night on Wednesday, Aug. 29, or Meet the Teacher Night on Tuesday, Sept. 4.

Preschool Handbook

ABC Preschool is a private preschool. Our goal is to provide quality early childhood education that fosters the development of the total child. To that end, our program uses a brain research-based curriculum to prepare students for Kindergarten and beyond. Our student/family focus builds a dedication to education with emphasis on community, service to others, and an appreciation for the diversity of all children i.n our community.

Monthly Songs

The following songs are the ones we are practicing during Music & Movement this month.

In addition, we require all parents/care givers to perform an *I Love Your Ritual* during drop-off. Wonderful Women and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star are our most popular. Let your child's teacher know if you need help performing.
