ABC Preschool's annualPASS THE PIE for Harvester'sTuesday, Nov. 20 @ 11 am
During November, our students are learning about empathy and helping others. ABC Preschool is once again hosting a friendly food drive competition between our teachers for Harvesters.
Have your child participate collecting nonperishable foods & personal care products (SUGGESTED LIST HERE). During the process, ask your child, "How does it feel to help someone?" Focus on the good feeling being of service to someone else.
Then, place your items in your teacher's donation tub in the Greeting Room before Friday, Nov. 16. The teacher with the most donations will get a pie in the face from her students on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 11:00 am. ALL preschoolers and families are invited to watch the fun! All items directly benefit Kansas City Harvesters Community Food Network.

Holiday Pajama Drive for Hope House
Monday, December 10 - Friday, December 14
ABC Preschool families have always been incredibly giving of their time, talents and gifts in serving others in our community. This holiday season, we are collecting pajamas in all children's sizes to donate to our local Hope House, a domestic violence shelter for men, women and children.
Often times, families arrive at Hope House with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Our hope is to provide a piece of comfort, in the form of comfy pajamas, to these children whose lives have been disrupted by domestic violence.
Donations bins will be located in the Greeting Room.
ABC Preschool is a private preschool. Our goal is to provide quality early childhood education that fosters the development of the total child. To that end, our program uses a brain research-based curriculum to prepare students for Kindergarten and beyond. Our student/family focus builds a dedication to education with emphasis on community, service to others, and an appreciation for the diversity of all children i.n our community.
The following songs are the ones we are practicing during Music & Movement this month.
In addition, we require all parents/care givers to perform an *I Love Your Ritual* during drop-off. Wonderful Women and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star are our most popular. Let your child's teacher know if you need help performing.
